When I was young, my father used to bring me to eat at Gerai Ah Kow near Stadium Kampung Baru. The shop is famous for its sesame chicken rice. But after we have shifted away from Titiwangsa, we don't go there that often anymore. Many years later, the shop is still there. The shop owner, Ah Kow, is now slowly handing over the business to his son. But off and on, you could still see him appear in his shop quite frequently.
The taste of the chicken rice is still as delicious as before. According to Ah Kow, he started his chicken rice business 40 years ago. His customers also includes a number of foreigners.
At a superior price of RM5, you will get a plateful of it's famous sesame chicken. I highly recommend you to try his sesame chicken rice as it is crispy, delicious and the chicken is juicy. To make your meal even more satisfying, request for a spicy chicken rice chili.
